Can anyone stop time please! Another month has passed and we are officially in Spring now. I’ve already seen the first xx weeks until Christmas meme on Facebook already! Well at least I got some things crossed off the list in March. My table got a long overdue makeover, an empty wall got a pretty decoration. My bathroom is very close to a big reveal on the blog. And my bedroom is in the midst of its makeover right now. On top of that there was lots of time spent with friends and family, there has been some forest bathing and the final steps in my huge garden overhaul are in the works.Â
I mentioned that one of my goals for this year is to have decorations on each and every wall of my home. Well the first step was taken with my thrift store upcycle project that involved turning a crochet curtain into a yarn boho wall hanging.
Good thing that my fellow DIY Home improvement Ladies made quite a few wall decorations for the thrift store challenge too. I got lots of inspiration for my empty walls. Here are a few of my favorites.
Who would have thought that a hula hoop could be the perfect base for such a sweet Spring wreath.
homemade art over a thrifted canvas
I have never been brave enough to try making an art painting myself. But this homemade art using a thrifted canvas might just be the inspiration I needed.
I love this sign made from an old cabinet door. The flowers add just the right touch.
I see napkins and tea towels at the thrift store all the time. Now that I have this tutorial on how to print text on them I might just pick some up next time I am there.
And how could I not love this beachy makeover. This shadow box is just too cute.
Another sign. This time a window turned into a chalk board. In love with the styling of this project too.
So did you have a favorite thrift store project? Are you visiting your thrift store as often as I do? Let’s chat.
