There she is.
Twinkling. Waiting.

Our white gold Christmas tree, finally upright in the living room. I’d been putting off this moment all week. Why? Because decorating the tree is always the final, and most magical, piece of the holiday puzzle.

Lots of handmade ornaments in white, silver and gold make this my favorite Christmas tree ever.

This year, I went for a white, silver and gold Christmas tree. The classic cozy and magical combination of gold, silver, and white gives the tree a warm, elegant glow while keeping it fresh and bright.

Why a White Gold Christmas Tree Works

There’s something about this color palette.

I really think that the white and gold color combination works really well. The white and silver light up the tree while the gold adds a bit of warmth.

This gold silver white Christmas tree that tells a story might be my favorite Christmas tree ever…

Handmade Ornaments: Personal Touches That Shine

Most of the ornament on this tree are handmade.

The embroidered burlap ornaments are from last year. The wooden stars from two years ago. the little doily ornaments that look like snowflakes I made a few Christmases ago. Tiny treasures, imperfect and quirky—but perfect for a DIY white gold Christmas tree.

I love that every ornament carries a little memory of Christmas craft fun and creativity taking its course. With handmade ornaments combined with some glittery storebought ones, you can turn your silver and gold Christmas tree into something sentimental, fun, and uniquely yours.

A white gold Christmas tree sparkles with handmade charm and cozy holiday vibes.

Silver and white catch the light. Airy. Sparkling. Magical.
Gold? Adds warmth and depth. A touch of cozy elegance that makes the whole tree feel inviting.

It is difficult to photograph though…

DIY Tree Stand Idea

This year, we came up with a fun alternative tree stand idea. I am loving it!

I stacked two painted suitcases (find out how to paint old suitcases here).

We had to fill up the bottom one with wood for stability, and the tree fit perfectly in the top one. I used a tree skirt the hide the metal legs of the tree and fill up the suitcase.

The Christmas light cords are hidden in that basket with pine cones next to the suitcases.
